If you have postulated that the scholarships are for some “star” students, think again because I am going to tell you about some of the strange and weird scholarships available for “not so bright” students, and guess what you could be the lucky one to qualify for these weird scholarships.
1. Starfleet Academy Scholarships–>“Starfleet Academy”(designed on the pattern of imaginary Star Trek academy) provides $500 scholarships to its members. This academy mainly coaches the individuals in the know-how of the Star Trek trivia.
2. Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest–> The list of weird scholarships include a scholarship of $1000 to $3000 given to the couple who goes to prom wearing costumes made completely of duct tape.
3. Loyola University–> Your last name can be of great use if you want a scholarship. If your last name is “Zolp” you will get a full scholarship (tuition fee) at Loyola University.
4. Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Award–> Another one in the list of weird scholarships is SAAMY award, you just have to send your photograph with milk moustache (yeah truly weird), and write an essay about how drinking milk is good and you are done.
5. The NCTA Help Santa Find the Perfect Real Christmas Tree–> In this weird scholarship you just have to write an essay and you can get $5,000 to $10,000 easily, but your age must be from 6 to 16.
6. Tall Clubs International–> They offer weird scholarships for people who are above the normal height.
7. Little people of America scholarship–> Oddball give away these weird scholarships to people who have exceptionally short height.
8. Twin scholarship–> If you are twins (or triplets) then George Washington University is ready to offer you scholarship if you and your twin enroll together.
